EN I BANJUL / MUNICH – In a landmark New Year's address, President Adama Barrow declared 2026 to be the ‘Year of National Transformation’. For GEAIS Holding and its partners, this speech marks the final confirmation of the intercontinental strategy.
The key points of the presidential directive:
Infrastructure as a priority: Barrow announced the massive expansion of the road network and the completion of strategic logistics hubs. This corresponds directly with GEAIS's metropolis planning and the development of the hinterland.
Energy self-sufficiency: Universal access to electricity is to be secured by the end of 2026. GEAIS Holding will spearhead the technological effort with Eco Cycle and modern system solutions.

Economic sovereignty: The president called for a reduction in import dependency. This is the green light for the d-Dalasi and GGB to financially strengthen local value chains.
